Polar Bears

Polar bears project!

Polar bears are in threat because the ice is moving inwards too slow and then the bears can not hunt the seals. The bears are then forced to move into the towns and eat our trash. This puts humans in danger too. In spring time the ice melts too quickly and in the winter time the ice moves too slowly.

First the steps we took to raise the money for the bears was.Mrs.D said to the class we were doing a project on polar bears she has a friend that went to Churchill to work with the bears. last week sometime or two weeks ago we had a Skip call with him and got information on the bears to help with our project. Then we thought we would adopt one! So we as a class got the prise of it was 250$ the money we got was 290$ that was over the price of it. So now we need to give the cash to the polar bear people.

My thoughts on the experience is it was hard at times but it was a fun to rice the money to adopt the polar bear. the part that was most hard was geting the money to get the bear. The one part was making up the facts on the bears. That was the bigest part of the hole experience. The polar bears porject was very fun and challenging at times for the most part it was fun doing it.<iframe src= “http://edu.glogster.com/glog.php?glog_id=25631179&scale=100″ width=”960″ height=”1300″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” marginheight=”0″ marginwidth=”0″ style=”overflow: hidden;”></iframe>

I’m glad you found parts of this project fun, and congratulations on helping your classmates meet your goal.

Challenging yourself to meet expectations is important in order to grow as a learner. Look what you accomplished as a result! :)

  2. It is har to believe polar bears are going extinct because that one of Canadas symbols. There were people who used to think or still do that canadians ride polar bears to school! haha!
I really like the picture you used in this post!
