Posted in Alike-Different:In the Book compared to the movie it is very different in some ways because Zan would never bite the person he cared for the most which was Ben but then in Project Nim he would bite anyone who made him mad,and I don’t think that caring for a chimp for soo long then giving it up,then going back and leaving again is the right thing to do like in Project Nim when the lady got dragged around in the cage by her ankle,i think it was because Nim was mad that he had noone there for him while he was lonley and he thought that maybe they were doing it to him to teach him a leason.But who know’s what Nim was thinking,maybe he was tired of being alone,or maybe he thought that since they hurt him by leaving him after he adjusted to human’s,that he would show them how it feels to be in pain but he probley never had the intenchon of hurting the lady,like the others said ‘Please don’t go in there,Nim is needs his space he is mad right now,leave him and his teritory alone for now’,But did she listen,she thought he would be happy to see her but he was feriouse with her!!Maybe some times you should consider listening to other’s and not go on with your own opinon after what you put some one or some thing through,you cant just do that it’s like buying a stuffed toy when your little and you really want it,and then after so long you find some thing better or newer that no one else has tryed or has even seen,and then just leaving that toy sitting in your bed room and for getting about it even thought stuffed toy’s aren’t real,but see that doesn’t matter, if you want some thing and you try your hardest to get it and then abandon it!Thats not right.Well atleast i don’t think it is,thats my opinon,not that ladies or anyone else opinon.
Big differences in the book to the movie was that the monkey would get stoned,Bob didn’t care wether he wasn’t human he and some others treated him as one of them and cared for him as one of them,but in the book Zan never smoked drugs.I guess that once you love someone so different for so long that you get used to the idea,of them being there and being different,especialy after you help them out through alot,and then they leave him,they send him away because he wasn’t making to big of progress?Like what it that,it’s like abandoning you’re own baby or child,he was a baby chimp he didn’t know what was happening.But Bob,Bob was like his father/brother/best friend,but also he cared most for Nim,he treated him as he would treat any other human being,but then he kinda just left for a while but he cared enought for Nim to go and stay with him because he couldn’t stand being away for too much longer.Bob wasn’t scared of Nim like Joyce was after her cheeck got bitten off by Nim but I think that I would be scared too if that happened to me,and I think that it is good that a human and a monkey have such a conection,to help eachother out,and love eachother sososos much!!I think it is amazing!Because Nim had a thing with Bob like noone else ever did,they were like so close!They probley would of been even closer if they never got seperated,but I don’t think it mattered to Bob or Nim,or in other words Ben and Zan,because they were together for a long time,even thought they are both totally different speices,But since I watched this movie and read the book I realized how much a person could care for an aniaml,but Nim/Zan he wasn’t no ordinary animal he knew how to speak just like an ordinary person,that’s what makes him speacial,makes him human like and makes him connect well with other speices rather then his own kind.Also more differences accoure in the book and the movie such as Nim and Zan go to different medical places,Nim goes to Lemsip,and Zan goes to Dr.Helson’s,But then later on they don’t think that Lemsip is so good for Nim becasue they do animal testing there so they send Nim to ‘Black Beauty Ranch’. Black Beauty Ranch was a great place for animal in need of care,just like Nim.

I think Zan is in a range of being a human and a chimp and the reason why is because he has favorite things and feelings and they get hurt when he gets yelled at and also he knows how to talk in sign-languag,but it should still count.
Zan could be defind as a person but he is really a chimp because he was born in the wild and he will always have wild in him,but he is being raised as a person for a project,The way a human could be defined is that they are them selves,not going by some-one else you control your life and how you look and every-thing.
I think it is fine to say Zan is a human because he is practicly a human by the way he acts and is treated,The reason i think it is good to define Zan as a human is because he has a human family to take care of him.
From two sides of the storie (Being Human or Chimp) people think that Zan is a human but he is a chimp.But just because Zan wasn’t born in the human world or he isn’t a full human doesn’t mean he isn’t one,he is practictly a human from what he has learned,and how he has learned it,and who he has learned it with.Most of the Ben’s family members especialy Ben have helped Zan learn all of what he knows and how to learn it.Being a chimp and a human is two totaly different things because being a person is that you have hsir alover your body and you live life differently like your homes and foog chocies and your voice most chimps sound different and the way they live is that they just sleep in tree’s,eat what ever they can find and they don’t get treated as spoiled as humans do.
Resons that could explain what i’m saying is that most people would just think of Zan as a stupid little chimp only being used as a project for stupid things but he is a person on the inside every-one has feelings and they get hurt just as easy,And it probly hurt when Mike threw that rock at him and made him bleed,Or when people call him names like Killer Chimp just because some-one made him mad and bite him.Whe most people get called names it hurts their feelings and thats probley why Zan bite Ryan,But i think it would of been best for Ryan to quit because he always upsets Zan and makes him mad and puts him in a bad mood.Ben’s dad thought that Ryan was one of the best studens that helped Zan alot but Ben didn’t see it and and he knew what was probley the best for Zan and he got what was best for him.
I Think i could of done better on my marks and i had studied for at least 10 hours,i have a bit of trouble remembering things especial when im really worried i wount pass.But i got threw these exams and it wasn’t hard but it wasn’t easy either!
So i can’t be mad about my marks these are my first exams and im not very happy about them but i tryed my hardest.These were my first exams and i had some trouble studying because it was pretty boring and i studyed for a long time,Doing exams isn’t easy but as you grow up they get even harder but thats why u study and get everything in your head and memorized.
These are somethings i could of done to make my marks better-
-Study for a longer peirod of time
-Take my time stuying
-Going over my notes more then 2-3 times.
I think i could of done those tips to get better marks.Also I’m pretty happy with my overall grades because I passed.

-Then using those notes i studyed over them a couple times each day for at least 1 hour or more
-Stuyed the stuff i didn’t know more then the stuff i do know
My six lettered story i wrote is based on my overall marks because i thought they were pretty good but not my best.

The meaning of this six lettered story is to say how i thought i did on my overall marks and how I tryed my hardest to get my marks that i have.
some of the things we had done in the begining of the year was Poetry, I loved the poetry the most because it was fun to read and easy to read.I enjoyed doing the Egypt in Social also because there was a lot of things that i learned about Egypt thanks to Mr.Fisher,i had so much doing the Egypt Project because i got to make a pyramid out of marsh-mellows!I thought i was very cool 
And in Science we had learned about lights and what kinds of lights there was and what they are used for and what effects they have on things and also we did things with mirrors and lens and how they work what kinds of types of lens and mirrors and why people need them.In math we learned not hard stuff and some was hard but I managed it and it was pretty easy considering that I suck at math,but I learned how to flip flop and multiply I’m proper and mixed fractions and how to make fractions into decimals,and doing the multiplying mixed fractions i got help from Mr.B,he is one of the good-est math teachers I’ve ever had because he ex-planes everything exactly how it’s done and he has been a big imporvment in math skills because when i need help i know he’s always there and same with Mr.Fisher.They are very good teachers.Also In Home.Ec class we had cooked and i think that Mrs.Nogier was also a big big improvment in my cooking skills.She is a great cook with the biggest cooking idea’s and i mean she will give you a resapy you might not every heard of or tasted but she is a very good-good cook and a very good teacher!
I can’t wait to work with the book ‘Half Brother’. I hope it is interesting ,which it probly will be! But i am pretty excited to read a novel that is about Chimps and humans and or how they work together. 
What im thinking the book will be about is how chimps and humans communitcate with eachother,like the way humans speak diffrent languages and how chimps are going to one day learn how to speak a diffrent language.I very much think it is posibale for a smart animal like a chimp to learn to speak very much diffrent languages then just one language which is their actual language,Also it could be about is how chimps and humans become friends.
Just by looking at the the front page of a book or reading the back of it, it could seem very interesting, So i can’t wait tell we finaly start to read the book,It looks very intersting.
I’m very excited to read ‘Half Brother’!

Working together with people i’v never meet before was actually very very interesting we got in a bit of a scrabble at first but then it got worked out. But working together over a computer is very difficult.The reason being is because you can’t see their exprestions.
Have the experionce of working with people in a whole diffrent town is very new to me….So that was the first time i’v ever worked with someone i’v never meet and or seen or worked with before!but I have a great time working with the people that i was grouped with.
