I have a new favorite band call Unhindered they are a great band !!! I heard them at YC Manitoba. There were great speakers at YC there and other great bands too I love and hope you look them up!! YC changed my life !!! 
I love some of the speakers they inspired my life to reach higher goals and think differently and now what I want to be when I get old. They are a band who taught me how to surrender!

Project Nim Vs. Half brother
We read a book called half brother it was by Kenneth Oppel and we watched the documentary called project Nim. Half brother was about a chimpanzee named Zan who was was caring loving and had a lot of empathy. Project Nim was about a chimp like Zan but that was a lot more animal like but half brother had parts of the movie in the book. Some of the characters in the book were a lot like the the people in the movie Ben is like Bob, Richard is like Herb and Peter is like Bill. I loved the book a lot more than the movie
because the book made chimps sound more like a person but Nim still was person like but he was way to unpredictable. Nim bit a lot more people then Zan did I think Kenneth Oppel made Zan nice and more understanding because he wanted us to like and think hes a sweet and caring animal. The thing that was disturbing was in the movie is what nim dose to the cat, rock and doll. The thing I liked most about the movie is that Nim finally found a loving caring environment. The thing I liked most about the book is Zan ended up in a great place with Ben being able to see Zan. The thing I didn’t like about well I didn’t not like any thing it was an amazing book. Some questions I have for the book thought what happened with Ben and Shannon? What dose Peter end up doing for a job? Do Ben and Perter still stay friends?
Chimpanzee = person or not?
Is Zan a person or not? What makes you a person? Is the dictionary right or wrong? What do other people think?
Well in the book it says that Zan is not a person from the dictionary Ben reads well I disagree with that I think if you are alive, can communicate, act civilized, are your own self and have emotions you qualify as a person and Zan has a of those qualities. Also some humans use sign language to communicate just like Zan. Zan was raised by humans he has a family of humans he was raised as a human. Also chimps have not built rock ships but some have been to the moon. Zan will never be human but he could be a person. Chimps can press buttons faster than a human and they have better memories than us.

In Austria there is a 26 year old male named Matthew that went to court to try and change the animal rights so that he could become a person but they were rejected. Miss. Stibbe is Matthews legal guardian now. So if Matthew couldn’t be human if Zan’s family fought long and hard maybe they could change animals rights.
If you disagree with me you will like this one. Maybe Zan isn’t a person he just has traits of a person or just as smart or smarter than a human. Zan could always just stop learning or not want to learn. Maybe animals are just animals and they will always just be animals and will always have to do what us humans want them to. Well an animal may not be person but they can act like one and noting is ever going to be right trough ever ones eyes so you can see it one way or another or you can be in the middle but you can see how you want but the way I see it is that if you can communicate and be your self you can be a person.
Oh No Exams!!!!
We just had exams so I am happy with my science, English language arts, social studies marks. I am not happy at all with my math mark at all. My best subject is science even though it is not my favorite it is my best. Over all I studied for about 10-12 days in total.
My goal is to get exempted at the end of the year so I don`t have to write all four exams. My biggest goal is to get exempted from all four subjects.
The first half of the year was fun we did a lot of different thing but don’t get me wrong it was lots of work to. We are learnt a hole bunch of new skills like blogging. This first half of the year was great it went by so fast. We read an amazing book called the Outsiders. It also a movie.
We wrote six word stories and here is mine ” Lot’s of work but different work.” The six word story was about the begging of the year. You should leave a comment on your six word story!

60 kids 60 computers 13 groups
Well we have been working with the group of kids from Wingham a hole province away. We have been working in google docs in the chat rooms we had to gather information and put into google docs and make into a google presentation . It is lots of fun we get along great we haven’t fought about anything. My groups task was to make a presentation on evolution when we started this project I had know clue what evolution was but now I do it is when animals change over a long period of time. I learn’t a lot about google docs and google presentation I know how to use them and to find great pictures. The reason we were doing this is because we are getting ready to read the book Half Brother witch sounds like a great book.
There are 13 groups of kids and between are 2 class there are about 60 kids. There is going to be a movie about this book and it is called Project Nim. It looks like an interesting movie and it tells part of the book. But the book is only part true the movie is a true story. For the presentation I did slid 4 and part of slid 8. It is really different working with kids you have never met. This book is written by Kenneth Oppel.

Hi everyone I am going with rangers camping its going to be so much fun! I love rangers we go on so many trips and play lots of games and help the community.
